Strawn, died of heart failure yesterday afternoon, October 29, at his home in Quincy,

Illinois. He was 63 years old. Bishop Strawn had been battling cancer for the last two

years.

We ask your prayers for his wife, Annette, and their four daughters, Angelique,

Christine, Tiffany and Miranda. Pray as well for the clergy and people of St. John's

Cathedral, Quincy. Bishop Strawn had served that parish as its Rector for many years.

Church in America and The Traditional Anglican Church for many years. He was

ordained to the priesthood in 1996 and consecrated Bishop Coadjutor of the Diocese of

Strawn became the second Bishop Ordinary of the diocese. He served in that capacity

until his death.
